Pengaruh Pendidikan Kewirausahaan terhadap Minat Berwirausaha Siswa MTsN 17 Jombang

This study aims to analyze the effect of entrepreneurship education on the entrepreneurial interest of eighth-grade students at MTsN 17 Jombang. The study employed a quantitative approach using a survey design. The research subjects consisted of eighth-grade students selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale, which was developed based on indicators of entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial interest. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression after meeting the prerequisite tests for analysis. The results showed that entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant effect on students’ interest in entrepreneurship. The t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 with a calculated t-value of 41.319. The regression coefficient of 1.544 indicates that an increase in entrepreneurship education is accompanied by an increase in entrepreneurial interest. The R-squared value of 0.928 indicates that entrepreneurship education contributes 92.8% to entrepreneurial interest, while 7.2% is influenced by other factors. Thus, entrepreneurship education plays a crucial role in enhancing students’ entrepreneurial interest.
