Focus and Scope
The Journal of Spirituality and Counseling (JSC) is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed open-access journal that publishes high-quality research and reflective studies at the intersection of spirituality, counseling, education, and human development. The journal seeks to advance understanding of how spiritual dimensions—religious and non-religious—can inform and enrich theory, practice, and policy in counseling and related helping professions.
JSC encourages submissions from diverse cultural, philosophical, and disciplinary perspectives. The journal accepts original research articles, theoretical explorations, literature reviews, reflective essays, autoethnographies, and practice-based reports.
