Author Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts to The Journal of Spirituality and Counseling (JSC). Submissions should comply with the following guidelines:
1. Types of Manuscripts Accepted

2. Language
Manuscripts must be written in English with clear, academic style and free from grammatical errors.
3. Manuscript Length

Research articles: 5,000–8,000 words (including references, tables, and figures).

Essays/Reviews: 3,000–5,000 words.
-
Book Reviews: 1,000–2,000 words.
4. Manuscript Structure
Articles should generally follow this structure:

Title (concise, informative, max. 15 words)

Author(s) Name, Affiliation, and Email

Abstract (150–250 words, single paragraph, outlining purpose, methods, results, and conclusions)
-
Keywords (3–6 words/phrases)

Introduction

Methodology (for empirical studies)

5. Formatting Requirements

Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
-
Spacing: 1.5 line spacing

Margins: 2.5 cm (all sides)

Referencing style: APA 7th Edition

Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively and placed within the text (not at the end).

7. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system: https://jurnal.gerakanedukasi.com/index.php/jsc.

Authors must register or log in to submit and track their manuscript.

Only manuscripts submitted via OJS will be considered.
8. Peer Review Process
All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers. The typical review period is 6–8 weeks.
9. Publication Ethics
Authors must ensure their submission is original, free of plagiarism, and has not been published elsewhere. All research involving human participants must follow ethical guidelines.
10. Article Processing Charges (APC)
There are no submission or publication fees (APC Free).
