Copyright And License

Authors who publish in The Journal of Spirituality and Counseling (JSC) retain the copyright of their work. Authors grant the journal the right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), which allows others to share and adapt the work with proper attribution and under the same license terms.

License

All articles in JSC are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This means:

  • Others may copy, distribute, display, and perform the work, as well as create derivative works, for both commercial and non-commercial purposes.

  • Proper credit must be given to the original author(s) and the journal as the source of publication.

  • Any derivative works must be distributed under the same license.

Author’s Rights

Authors are allowed to:

  • Share their work (e.g., deposit in institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic networks).

  • Reuse their published article in future works (such as books or book chapters), provided that proper acknowledgment of its original publication in JSC is included.
