Gerasi in Language Studies (GILS) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to the study of language, linguistics, literature, language education, translation, and applied linguistics. The journal serves as a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, educators, practitioners, and students to disseminate original research and scholarly perspectives in language-related fields.
GILS publishes original research articles, theoretical and conceptual studies, empirical research, literature reviews, and scholarly reviews that contribute to the development of knowledge and practices in language and language studies. The journal encourages interdisciplinary and innovative approaches that address contemporary issues in language, communication, education, literature, and related fields.

All manuscripts submitted to Gerasi in Language Studies undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their relevance to the journal's focus and compliance with the submission guidelines. Manuscripts that meet the initial requirements are subsequently evaluated through a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential.
The editorial decision is based on the quality, originality, methodological rigor, relevance, clarity, and scholarly contribution of the manuscript.
Gerasi in Language Studies is published twice a year, in April and October.
