Author Fee

Gerasi in Language Studies (GILS) applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to support the editorial, peer review, production, and publication processes of accepted manuscripts.

Article Processing Charge

The Article Processing Charge is:

IDR 150,000 per accepted article

The APC is charged only after the manuscript has received an official acceptance decision from the editorial team.

Authors are not required to pay any submission fee or review fee during the initial submission and peer review process.

Payment Policy

The following policies apply:

• There is no submission fee.
• There is no peer review fee.
• The APC of IDR 150,000 is payable only after the manuscript is officially accepted for publication.
• Payment does not guarantee acceptance of a manuscript.
• Editorial and peer review decisions are based solely on the academic quality, originality, relevance, and compliance of the manuscript with the journal's standards.
• The APC covers the editorial processing, copyediting, layout, online publication, and related publishing activities.
• Authors will receive payment instructions after the manuscript has been officially accepted.

Waiver and Refund Policy

If the journal determines that a waiver or fee reduction is appropriate in exceptional circumstances, authors may contact the editorial office for consideration.

Article Processing Charges that have been paid are generally non-refundable once the publication process has commenced, except where the journal determines otherwise.

Gerasi in Language Studies (GILS) is committed to maintaining a transparent and fair publication fee policy. The payment or non-payment of an APC has no influence on the editorial or peer review decision.
