Quranic Perspectives On Longevity: A Comparative Analysis Of Tafsir Al-Ibriz And Tafsir Al-Mishbah In The Indonesian Context

In essence, humans will experience development and growth which of course will be accompanied by positive and negative impacts. One that is related to human development and growth is age or age. Longevity in the Qur'an is explained by the length of human life in the world. Al-Quran mentions the term longevity in various words. So the authors examine the impact of longevity according to Bisri Mustafa and Quraish Shihab. The type of research used by the author is thematic and comparative research with the type of library research. The research conducted by the author is a qualitative research with primary data sources, namely Tafsir Al-Ibriz and Al-Misbhah and secondary data in the form of relevant books. In collecting data, the writer uses literature search. Analysis of the research data is content analysis and descriptive-comparative analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that: in the verses of longevity Bisri Mustafa and Quraish Shihab argue that the result of long life causes weakness in physical strength and reduced memory or senility
