Peer Review Process

CETHE: Journal of Creative Economics and Trading Halal Ecosystem implements a rigorous and transparent peer review process to ensure the publication of high-quality and impactful scholarly work.

1. Initial Screening

All submitted manuscripts are first evaluated by the editorial team to ensure:

  • Alignment with the journal’s focus and scope
  • Compliance with author guidelines and formatting standards
  • Originality and relevance of the topic

Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be rejected at this stage.

2. Plagiarism Check

Each manuscript is screened using plagiarism detection tools to ensure academic integrity. Submissions with a high similarity index or indications of unethical practices will be rejected or returned for revision.

3. Double-Blind Peer Review

Eligible manuscripts are subjected to a double-blind peer review process, where:

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:

  • Relevance to the journal’s scope

4. Review Decision

Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial team makes one of the following decisions:

  • Accepted without revision
  • Accepted with minor revisions
  • Accepted with major revisions
  • Rejected

Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in accordance with reviewer comments within the specified timeframe.

5. Final Decision and Editing

After revision, the manuscript undergoes final evaluation by the Editor-in-Chief. Accepted manuscripts proceed to:

  • Copyediting
