The study employed a qualitative case study design to explore the implementation of disciplinary culture within the institutional learning environment. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation involving institutional managers, teachers, and students. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques, supported by source and method triangulation to ensure data validity. The findings reveal that the formation of bi’ah lughawiyyah is systematically supported through the integration of structured daily activities, habituation-based Arabic learning practices, and the implementation of disciplinary culture management through the ‘iqob system. The institution organizes intensive language exposure through scheduled academic and dormitory activities that actively encourage students to use Arabic in daily interactions. In addition, disciplinary regulations function not only as behavioral control mechanisms but also as institutional strategies for maintaining consistency in language practices within both classroom and dormitory environments. The integration of organizational discipline, learning habituation, and environmental management gradually fosters a sustainable Arabic-language environment that strengthens students' communicative competence and language habits. Theoretically, this study contributes to the discourse on educational management by positioning disciplinary culture as an integral component of language-environment management in Islamic educational institutions. Practically, the findings highlight the importance of integrated learning management, organizational culture, and institutional regulation in sustaining effective language-based learning environments.
Lukman Nulhakim, Iyna Syofiana, R. The identity of the Madrasah Qur’ani is manifested through flagship programs based on the UMMI method, religious culture habituation, improvement of educational service quality, and optimization of digital media. The implementation of these strategies contributes positively to strengthening the competitiveness of the madrasah, as indicated by increased public trust, growth in new student enrollment, improved academic and non-academic achievements, and the strengthening of a positive institutional image. This study confirms that brand image development integrated with institutional management functions serves as an effective strategy for enhancing the sustainable competitiveness of madrasah
Mambaul Ulum, Achmad Naufal Roozan Copyright (c) 2026 Journal of Policy Review and Innovation in Educational Management https://jurnal.gerakanedukasi.com/index.php/priem/article/view/410 Fri, 31 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Transformational Leadership in Developing Teachers' Innovative Culture in Islamic Education: A Case Study at MAS Diponegoro Bandung Tulungagung https://jurnal.gerakanedukasi.com/index.php/priem/article/view/394
Educational transformation has increased the need for school leadership that promotes continuous innovation through organizational culture. Although previous studies have confirmed the positive influence of transformational leadership on teachers' innovative behavior, limited attention has been given to the organizational processes through which transformational leadership develops an innovative teacher culture, particularly in Islamic educational institutions. This study explores how transformational leadership shapes an innovative teacher culture in an Islamic senior high school. A qualitative case study was conducted at MAS Diponegoro Bandung Tulungagung, Indonesia. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with ten purposively selected participants, non-participant observations, and document analysis. The data were analyzed using Braun and Clarke's thematic analysis, while trustworthiness was ensured through triangulation, member checking, and an audit trail. The findings reveal that transformational leadership fosters an innovative teacher culture through four sequential organizational processes: leadership meaning-making, which develops shared vision and commitment toward innovation; teacher empowerment, which strengthens professional autonomy and reflective practice; collaborative innovation, which promotes knowledge sharing and collective learning; and innovation institutionalization, through which innovative practices become embedded as organizational routines and professional norms. These interconnected processes culminate in a sustainable innovative teacher culture. This study extends transformational leadership theory by proposing a Conceptual Process Model of Innovative Teacher Culture Development, offering a process-oriented framework for understanding how leadership fosters sustainable teacher innovation in Islamic educational settings.
Laila Nur Fitria, Nailiy Ulya Ulin Ni’mah Copyright (c) 2026 Journal of Policy Review and Innovation in Educational Management https://jurnal.gerakanedukasi.com/index.php/priem/article/view/394 Fri, 31 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Inspirational Leadership from The Perspective of Transformational Theory at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung https://jurnal.gerakanedukasi.com/index.php/priem/article/view/331
The rapid technological developments in the Society 5.0 era require Islamic educational institutions to adopt flexible and innovative leadership styles to keep pace with changing times.
Cepi Septian Copyright (c) 2026 Journal of Policy Review and Innovation in Educational Management https://jurnal.gerakanedukasi.com/index.php/priem/article/view/402 Fri, 31 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Efektivitas Kepemimpinan dalam Lembaga Pendidikan Islam: Tinjauan Berdasarkan Teori Penerimaan https://jurnal.gerakanedukasi.com/index.php/priem/article/view/293
Putri Kurniawati, Muhammad Fajrul Falah Alwi Copyright (c) 2026 Journal of Policy Review and Innovation in Educational Management https://jurnal.gerakanedukasi.com/index.php/priem/article/view/293 Fri, 31 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Dinamika Kebijakan dan Regulasi Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam di Indonesia: Systematic Literature Review (SLR) https://jurnal.gerakanedukasi.com/index.php/priem/article/view/400
Quality assurance is a fundamental element in the governance of Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKI) in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the policies and regulations related to quality assurance and to identify the challenges of its implementation within PTKI. This research adopts a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to explore relevant legal frameworks, academic findings, and practical insights. The quality assurance system is grounded in the national legal framework, including Law No. 12 of 2012 on Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Regulation No. 53 of 2023 on Quality Assurance in Higher Education, as well as sectoral policies such as Ministry of Religious Affairs Regulation No. 4 of 2020, which supports the Islamic-based tridharma of higher education. Quality assurance is carried out through two main systems: Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI), implemented independently by institutions, and External Quality Assurance System (SPME), conducted through accreditation by BAN-PT or independent accreditation bodies (LAM). Despite the existence of a comprehensive regulatory framework, PTKIs still face several challenges in practice, such as a weak culture of quality, limited human resources, technological gaps, and unequal policy support across regions. This study recommends strengthening digital-based quality governance, continuous training for academic communities, and internalizing a quality-oriented institutional culture. Accordingly, PTKIs are expected to develop a sustainable and globally competitive quality system while upholding the values of moderate Islam.
Arum Wardatul Husna Asyauqiya, Jessika Ahali Jannah Copyright (c) 2026 Journal of Policy Review and Innovation in Educational Management https://jurnal.gerakanedukasi.com/index.php/priem/article/view/400 Fri, 31 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Practice-Based Learning Management for Internalizing Students' Character Values: An Islamic Educational Management Perspective https://jurnal.gerakanedukasi.com/index.php/priem/article/view/303
This study aims to analyze the management of practice-based learning in the internalization of character values among students of the Faculty of Sports Science at Universitas Negeri Malang from an Islamic education perspective. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, and analyzed using thematic analysis involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that practice-based learning management, encompassing planning, implementation, and evaluation, systematically integrates character values such as discipline, sportsmanship, teamwork, and critical thinking. The internalization process occurs through habituation, role modeling, direct experience, and continuous reflection. The results also indicate behavioral changes among students, reflected in increased responsibility, discipline, and social competence. From the perspective of Islamic education, these processes embody values such as amanah (trustworthiness), ‘adl (justice), ukhuwah (brotherhood), and tazkiyatun nafs (self-purification), which are internalized through learning practices. This study contributes to the development of Islamic educational management, particularly in designing practice-based learning that not only focuses on academic achievement but also on holistic character formation.
Moh.
Audrey Bellyana Copyright (c) 2026 Journal of Policy Review and Innovation in Educational Management https://jurnal.gerakanedukasi.com/index.php/priem/article/view/238 Fri, 31 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0000
