Abstract

Environmental problems are becoming increasingly complex due to rising human activities that pay little attention to ecosystem balance. One of the most significant challenges facing society today is the decline in environmental quality caused by minimal reforestation efforts and ineffective waste management. The main activities implemented during the Community Service Program (KKN) of UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung were tree planting and installation of waste education signage in Jajar Village. A total of 314 tree seedlings were successfully planted, and two waste education signs were installed at strategic points throughout the village. These activities involved village government, students, and local residents. Through the ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) approach, this program successfully increased community awareness regarding the importance of reforestation and waste management. The results demonstrate success in building collaboration and community independence in maintaining their environment.
